ABOUT THE DAY

SAM VAKIN

'This is the best orchestrated event on Narcissistic Abuse Ive ever spoken at!'

Huge thanks to Melanie, Kim and Angie for speaking at our 1 Day Conference at the Police HQ for England and Wales Federation House last month in July and fantastic to see them involved again at this conference in Manchester!

Survive and Thrive after Narcissistic Abuse
28 SEP 2019
10:00am - 5.15pm

A day of  key industry expert speakers on who will advise on how to overcome and combat abuse, how a Narcissists mind works and recovery and survival techniques. There will also be real survivors talking about their recovery and how they have managed to overcome and walk away from the ex Narcissist. You will have the opportunity to take part in a question and answer session, talk to other victims and to meet other like minded women who have gone through the same traumatic experiences as yourself! So ...how do you speak to a Narcissist, react to them in high conflict situations, what court orders are there out there to protect you, what do you do when you get to court, what is EMDR and can it help you with Trauma?  Its a day for women, run by women to help and support women.

Still struggling from the effects of a narcissistic abusive relationship?... then this one day cconference is for you!

Many people do struggle and in the UK there is still very sparse information available both online or in the written research. There are few specialist counsellors and therapists that can help. Narcissistic Victim Syndrome is not officially recognised, nor is it widely even known. Even when it is accepted, recognised and known not many people seem to know what to do about it to heal. The fact is being in a relationship with a narcissist over both a short and long period of time has long lasting traumatic effects that can be extremely catastrophic to the person suffering them.

Do The Following Symptoms Sound Familiar?

ruined self confidence - doubting yourself and your sanity - mood swings- sleeplessness - extreme weight loss or weight gain

- uncharacteristic jealousy/ insecurity - feeling like you don't know the difference between right and wrong - extreme paranoia (being turned into an obsessive detective) - endless, repetitive obsessive thinking about your ex - believing you are the abuser or in the wrong - constantly trying to find explanations for what has happened - endless crying - feelings of helplessness and despair - a desire to self isolate - feeling desperately misunderstood - overwhelming feelings of loss and grief - extreme bouts of rage - an inability to be comfortable with yourself - strange dreams - sudden inexplicable anxiety followed by rapid dips into depression...the list goes on....

If you have suffered psychological and emotional abuse at the hands of a narcissist/psychopath then this will sound all too familiar to you.

"Nobody Understands!"  If you try and tell people who have NO EXPERIENCE with a narcissist (there is no experience like being with a narcissist), its not their fault they can't understand about it they will either deny your experience, tell you you are exaggerating or look at you like you were crazy. And then you will feel alone, depressed and start to wonder if you REALLY are going crazy.

"Maybe my ex is right, maybe I am wrong, maybe it really is me...."

This one day  course will cover many different aspects of Narcissistic abuse such as The Idealization-Devaluation-Discard Phase,  Gaslighting, Smear campaigns,  Triangulation, Co Dependency,  The False self and the True self.

Book your ticket now as seats are strictly limited and the event is expected to sell out well in advance.

SNETHA BADHAN - MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER AND ADVOCATE

DEBBI FROST   AUTHOR AND ADVOCATE

Debbi is an advocate for those who have experienced abuse in the context of relationships. She is a trustee with a charity which works with women, men and children to bring an end to domestic abuse and is passionate about raising awareness of the reality and burden of domestic and narcissistic abuse.

Her personal mission is to shine a light for people who may not realise they too have endured abuse because their life looks good on the outside and this way of existing is their ‘normal’.

Debbi has contributed a chapter to a book being published this September.

Her chapter is an invite to share in a story of learning and healing, focusing on the incredible power of EMDR therapy to overcome trauma and symptoms of PTSD. Debbi’s hope is to encourage anyone who needs to believe a healthier and happier life is possible. She wants you to know you are good enough and, the truth is, you have always been enough.

Debbi believes that knowledge is the key to finding your emotional healing path. She encourages using the internet to help connect with your ‘tribe’ and find your own ‘lightbulb’ moments.  When we realise we are not alone or to blame, and the shame was never ours to carry, we can begin to hope and dream again.

Her own motto is: We learn, then we live.

Her aim is to raise awareness of all forms of abuse and support survivors through their healing journey.

“We all deserve the right to be our authentic selves and live freely” I embrace my Freedom.
